They pointed the guns at each other. It s only a matter of time before one of them would shot and it would be over. Her eyes were big and straight forward. “Do you really have what it takes to kill me?” she was older and taller then the girl. Both their hand's were ready and waiting. “Can you do it?”
Her fingers press the trigger. She shot at the girl, without a sound the girl shot back before the bullet hit her. Her body fell to the ground, today the dirt didn't taste good. The bullet hit her in the shoulder. The blood was dripping all over her.
As for the women, the bullet that was going to hit her was now on the ground.
She woke up her hand in the place where she had her gun. That was the way she always slept. A gun on her, always loaded. “I see your awake.” her voice was like glass on a carpet, ready to make you bleed. The girl's neck moved up and she was who was talking, a middle aged women different from the one who shot her. This one seemed to be older and quicker, with a gun already in her hand. A ready shard of glass. “Your a strong child, what's your name?”
She pressed her picky finger in to her eye. She looked at the bed, coved in a mess of blankets, sheaths, and blood. Her blood. “Kira,” (killer in Jap. Or dark lady) her breath was ice on the unsuspecting air.
“So Kira where do you live?” If you were there you could have felt the room chill a couple of degrees. Her hair was dark with this lighting, her eyes were darker. Her face was so vague though, it was as if the whole murky room hadn't been taught the word light.
“Ombre,” (French for shadows) the opaque in her voice made up for the lack of French accent. Their conversation got cut short by the door opening and being able to see real live light. Her eyes squint as if to say do this is the person who shot me. As the light entered the dim room everything became clear as day.
“So you have no home...” she said with a hiss. Kira moved her hand from her eye. Her face was on the women, who was at the door. Her eyes were sharp like the knifes she had seen so many times and used so many more.
“What's that nice look for?” Sharp eye's asked with a playful grin. With out a sound though her eyes dropped and she had no expression.
“You know we did save you,”
“By shooting me, right?” A heavy breath and a smile came from Kira. Her hand now rest on her cheek bone.
